Advantages to tabbed browsing:

• Faster credit accrual. You can earn credits in multiple exchanges at the same time. The average surfer can earn about 600 pageviews per day surfing only 5 exchanges for 1 hour.
• No waiting for loading pages or timers. You can quickly look at an offer, and if you don’t like it, move on.
• Some exchanges have promotions such as Super Surf, which gives you 10% more credits for surfing five exchanges at the same time.

Rules for tabbed surfing:

• While the actual accepted number of exchanges to surf at a time isn’t set in stone. The general consensus is that five is a generally acceptable number. More than that and it starts to seem a bit like cheating.
• Actually look at the websites that are being displayed. Otherwise it defeats the purpose. I’m not asking that you sign up for every one of them, but that you actually look at them with more than a passing glance.

Now, I mentioned earlier that the average surfer could earn 600 visits every day for just 1 hours worth of work. It’s totally true and here’s how I arrived at this conclusion:
pages surfed = (timer length)/3600 (which is the number of seconds in an hour)
Visitors = (pages surfed)*(exchange ratio)*(number of exchanges surfed at a time)
The average timer is 15 seconds and the average exchange ratio is 2:1 or 0.5. When you do the math, that comes out to 600 visitors for just one hours worth of work. Now, in reality, your results will vary, but the math is sound. Imagine if you did this every day for 30 days. That’s 18,000 visitors a month!

The strategy has real potential if you don’t abuse it. Remember, if you abuse it, the traffic exchange owners will become wise to the abuse and will ban you from their sites. They may also reprogram their exchanges so that they do not allow tabbed browsing.

Use tabbed browsing responsibly and keep up that surfing.

It’s fairly simple actually. All of these traffic exchanges have a special script in their surfbars that lets them know when you’re surfing the other Super Surf exchanges. If you surf all 5 exchanges at the same time, you can earn 10% more credits for every pageview!

You really can’t loose. This is an excellent opportunity to increase the number of credits you earn with each service with little more effort than you where before. If you’re not sure how to surf all these services at the same time, I would suggest you look into tabbed browsing. It can really make a world of difference.

Advantages:

• Super Surf
• Dynamic exchange ratio. Free members start out at 3:1. However, the more they surf, the higher the ratio. You can also set goals and get the next days ratio increased by a variable percentage. This is unbelievably powerful, and really encourages people to surf more.
• Strong anti-cheating measures. You actually have to do some basic addition to proceed to the next site. The answers range from 2-9, so it’s not that difficult.
• Contests and games to earn things from referrals, credits, and increased exchange ratios.
• Fast traffic distribution. I was getting traffic almost immediately.

Disadvantages:

• Untargeted Traffic

With all those advantages, it really dwarfs out the one disadvantage. Magnify Traffic is a good solid choice when it comes to traffic exchanges. They are certainly worth checking out.

Advantages:

• Super Surf
• Easy navigation, simply click where it tells you to, no matching or math required.
• Several Strong and varied anti-cheating measures. The visits to your site are definitely real people.
• Random referrals, even for free members. This means you can build your downline without even advertising your affiliate link!
• Very fast traffic distribution. I was able to get traffic from them almost immediately.
• Build your own list. Yep, you have the option to have your list building form shown to those who sign up under you. If you’re going to be building a list, why not build your own?
• Very fun. The owner, Robert Puddy, has a great sense of humor. I just played a game where I got to throw tomatoes at him while I waited on the timer. I didn’t earn any credits… but I must have lobbed at least 50. No offense Robert… but it’s a fun game.
• There are also games that allow you to win extra credits and they pop up fairly often… although I still wish I could earn credits for lobbing tomatoes. ^_^

Disadvantages:

• Untargeted traffic
• 3:1 surf ratio, which is a little low, but not terrible. The best thing is that the super surf feature does make this go up if you surf all of the five traffic exchanges in the group at once.

All in all, I really like this traffic exchange. It’s simple and easy to use and on top of that, it’s fun. Advertising Know-How is certainly worth checking out.

Advantages:

• 2:1 exchange ratio, this is fairly standard. You can upgrade to receive up to a 1:3 exchange ratio.
• I know this goes off the path of “free traffic” but I do think the cheap upgrades are worth mentioning. Also, until they reach 1000 members, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up with a lifetime speed racer account with a one time payment.

Disadvantages:

• Slow returns on traffic. I bet this is due to the fact that so many people are signing up with paid accounts and then not returning to actually surf. Once more free members join, the members should start receiving traffic much quicker.
• Totally untargeted traffic.
• One button surfing could theoretically lead to cheating.

There are certainly some kinks to work out of the system before it is perfected, but it is well worth getting in early. Speedway Hits. may be brand new, but it is certainly worth checking out.

The first number is what you must do, the second number is what you get. For instance, some banner exchanges have a 3:2 exchange ratio. This means, that for every three banners you show, yours is shown twice.

Why do we need an exchange ratio?
Why can’t we just get a 1:1 exchange all the time?
Well, it’s never that simple. In order to provide the best service possible, most exchanges NEED to make sure that you actually earn less than 1:1 ratio. In fact, I am always VERY skeptical towards exchanges with a 1:1 ratio… because it usually means it isn’t going to last. It’s very difficult to support an exchange like that, especially if there are bonuses on top of such a high exchange ratio. Here are some common reasons an exchange might have an uneven exchange ratio:

• To reward those who surf/earn credits more or more often.
• To reward people for referring others.
• To reward people for the credits earned by their downlines.
• To reward people randomly for contests/games/prizes/etc…
• To be able to offer better exchange ratios to paid members.
• To ensure that they can actually deliver on the exchange as promised.

The last point is very important. If an exchange has people earning more than they can provide, then they’ve got a big problem. Having lower exchange ratios allows them to actually deliver the traffic they promise to. This is why it is a good idea to be very skeptical of any service that offers a 1:1 ratio for free members.

Advantages:

• Credit mailer, this ensures that people will read your email ads.
• Strong anti-cheating/bounce policies ensure high quality views of your ads.
• Upgraded packages are chock full of cool features, and are very cheap.

Disadvantages:

• Free members can only send out an email once very 3 days. This just stinks.
• All the usual gripes about safelists.

While the limit on the number of times free members can send out emails is a bit rough, it’s there to keep the system intact and to keep the members from being flooded with emails. Trust me, it’s worth it if you consider the alternative. The cheap upgrades also help alleviate this problem, but this site focuses on the free aspects of traffic. All in all, Global Safelist is a decent safelist and is certainly worth a look.

Tip:
With a big safelist like this, it is TOTALLY worth the money to purchase a solo ad. It’s a very cheap way to get a ton of traffic very quickly.

Advantages:

• 100 free credits on signup.
• Standard 2:1 surfing ratio
• Promote an unlimited number of sites
• Strong Anti-Cheat policy
• Daily contests and prizes
• Earn 20% of the credits earned by your downline, four levels deep.
• Earn 1000 banner impressions every time someone joins your downline (and surfs 25 pages).
• Option to use an exit exchange with a 2:1 ratio.

Disadvantages:

• Completely Untargeted Traffic

All in all, I like the site. It works great, it delivers on its promises. it is very simple and easy to use. Although, as most free traffic services are, this is untargeted traffic, it makes up for it with the myriad of advantages in its arsenal. Fast Freeway is certainly worth giving a try.

Advantages:

• Has the potential to drive massive amounts of raw traffic to your site.
• Decent resources and tips for how to advertise your affiliate links.

Disadvantages:

• Completely untargeted traffic. Don’t expect many sales.

As with any viral marketing site, you have that one huge disadvantage. These kinds of sites are only good for building raw traffic to fuel some other technique (such as generating credits for a banner exchange).

As far as this sort of site goes, T-2000 Ultra is not that bad. However, don’t use this as your sole method for generating traffic.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried just about every free traffic service under the sun. We at FreeTrafficWorks try to evaluate a new service on a regular basis but we also know we just can’t do this fast enough. This is where you can help. If you’re a member of a service that we do not have listed in our free traffic services, then you have the option of writing your own review. There are a few guidelines that you’ll want to follow, but they’re pretty easy and straight forward:

1. Stick to the rules in the terms and conditions. This means, nothing offensive, hateful, rude, or disrespectful. If a service exists that isn’t any good at all, give good legitamte reasons why. “This service sucks!” is not good enough. “This service sucks because…” is a little better… just try not to use the “suck” word. There are nicer ways to say a service “sucks”, use them.
2. Keep it on topic. If you think we should add a new category to the services we list, please contact us ahead of time to clear it with us. It’s not likely that we’ll add a new category to the site unless you can give us good reason.
3. Keep it in a similar format to all the other reviews. The general outline is as follows: Intro, advantages, disadvantages, conclusion.
4. Put your affiliate links in the post where you mention the services name. (As thanks for helping us out with our content, we’ll keep those affiliate links for approximately a week before we change the post so that everyone can earn affiliates from them. If we’re not a member of that site already, we may just join under you!)
5. You can also make a post in Traffic Strategies that is not related to a free traffic service. It could just be advice, tips, tricks, etc… for building traffic. In that case, no spam. As long as your attempting to provide people with legitimate and solid advice, everything will be fine.
