Link Buddies is a very nice banner exchange. They’ve been in business since 1997, so you can be sure that they know their stuff. What amazed me most, was not their actual exchange system, but the vast array of tools that they have available.

Advantages:

• 2:1 exchange ratio, meets industry standard.
• Real time stats at no extra cost. (Many exchanges charge for such services)
• Banner creation wizard. This particular feature is very useful.
• Totally targeted traffic!
• 500 free credits for joining.
• Sell unused credits for CASH! (that one really suprised me)

Disadvantages:

• Their website runs a little slow, even with a fiber optic connection. I suspect their servers may need an upgrade to handle their current user load.
• The banner creator would be awesome… if it worked. The images could still be used as reference though (copy/paste into an image editor).
• Referral link is hard to find, it must be extracted from the banner code that they provide. Thusly, if someone wanted to refer people to them without displaying the banner, they would have to know enough HTML to cut it out of there.*

Those two little hiccups aside, Link Buddies is a great banner exchange. They are very experienced in this particular field and they are constantly growing. You can certainly expect great things from them. Go ahead, go check them out.

*The referral URL can be found in the HTML code they provide for the banners. It will look something like http://www.linkbuddies.com/?ref=###### with your affiliate ID in the place of the #’s.
